Energy Partnership Award Winner

The National Energy Skills Accelerator (NESA) are delighted to have been awarded The Herald Education Awards 2025 Partnership Award at the annual ceremony in Glasgow last night.

This award recognises NESA’s achievements in building skills for a just energy transition and the successes of NESA's Just Transition Fund project which provided fully-funded training for more than 700 individuals on a range of courses across North East Scotland. The project also say 15 courses newly developed in a single academic year, to meet the energy sectors rapidly evolving skills needs.

NESA Chair Dr Susan Grant, said: “The power and effectiveness of collaboration is at the heart of NESA’s work and this award is very welcome recognition of the energy and innovation of all of the partners. We look forward to continuing to build on the strong foundations that have been built over the past four years and to many more success stories in the future.”
